Patinada is a piece composed by Brazilian Fellow Juliano Abramovay, who explained that “Patinada's are songs that you sing while wandering around in the streets.” Juliano wrote this song while in Thessaloniki, in collaboration with Andre Goldfeder @andre-goldfeder, who wrote the lyrics. The song finds itself in between several cultures, as “there is some eastern Mediterranean influence in it, but you can also hear the northeast of Brazil there at some points.” For this recording, Juliano played Oud, and was accompanied by Chakib Bouzidi (Algeria) on Kamélé N’goni, Shruti Bhave (India) on Violin, Dylan McKinstry (U.S.) on Mandolin, and the voice of fellow Brazilian Yantó.
